We’re less than two weeks away from the WinterFest 2018 season opener. I hope that, you’ve got your festival and accommodation passes secured and that you are just as amped as we are. This year’s a proud one for the Gone skiing team as we will be in the middle of it all. That’s right we’re one of the event’s proud sponsors and more than ready to report to duty.
As you can see WinterFest 2016 was a smasher of note and in 2017 the epicness of this festival grew tenfold. You’d be surprised to hear that this will only be WinterFest’s 4th year of existence. WinterFest has grown to such a magnitude that we classify it as being the highlight of the Gone Skiing calendar. Where else will you find South Africa and Lesotho’s best of the best musical talent while having the opportunity to share in some sick shred sessions with them? Well, WinterFest 2018 has you covered and the best part of it all is you could opt in for a cosy bed.
A Cosy Bed You Say?
Yea and they do not come cosier than the beds at Afriski. There are lodging opportunities for every kind of party goer imaginable. Backpackers for your cash tight traveller and then you’ve got your luxurious 2 – 8 sleeper selections. So in reality, it’s kind of safe to say that you’re spoiled with choice. You don’t have to book in to sleep over, but Afriski made it their goal to accommodate every event goer to the extreme. You’d be crazy not to take advantage of the deals on offer. The best part of it all is that your mountain pass and ski rental is included in your accommodation packages. Don’t believe me? Do yourself a favour and check these deals out for yourself.
Who’s Performing at Winterfest 2018?
Ever hear of a kiff guy with the name of Jack Parow? Maybe even of a little group called Rubber Duc? If you know who these guys are you probably also know that there’s nothing little about them. They are two of SA’s hottest acts at this moment and it doesn’t stop there. Gunshot Blue, Dj Nick Hamman, DJ David Sanei, DJ Skye are only a few of the acts that promise you an endless amount of entertainment this Winterfest 2018 Season Opener. You can find the full line-up on the official WinterFest 2018 site.
